As temperatures rise and many new researchers join the Penn community, let's show off our best lab safety attire, being sure to have no exposed skin below the waist and ensuring the entire torso and shoulders are covered!

Tips for managing hot weather and lab attire:
- Take the air-conditioned train or bus instead of walking to make the commute more comfortable in long pants
- Commute in airier clothes and bring a change of clothes with you each day
- Keep a set of lab clothes at your desk to change into when you arrive
- Have the lab keep a few spare sets of scrubs in case someone accidentally wears their summer attire to lab
- Try zip-up pants where you can simply put on or take off the bottom half of the pants depending on whether you're in lab or not
